Irvine-based BKM Capital Partners, an institutional fund manager with a niche in multi-tenant light industrial investments, has acquired the RREEF Tempe portfolio, a 305,524-square-foot, three-property portfolio in the Tempe, Ariz., area in a $241 million off-market transaction. The portfolio consists of 16 multi-tenant light industrial buildings. The portfolio was acquired as part of BKM Industrial Value Fund I LP, which closed earlier this year and now has 14 assets totaling more than $155.1 million in assets under management. The acquisitions bring BKM's holdings in the Phoenix region to 1.3 million square feet. BKM Capital Partners was founded in 2013 by Brian Malliet and Nima Taghavi.
Colliers International represented the buyer of a single-tenant PetSmart location in Aliso Viejo. An Orange County-based private investor acquired the land and building at 23511 Aliso Creek Road for $18.5 million. The property is an anchor tenant at Aliso Town Center. The seller was a Los Angeles-based developer.
