BKM Capital Partners Adds Susan Rounds, Managing Director, Operations to Expanding Leadership Team


Newport Beach, Calif., August 9, 2021 – Newport Beach, California-based BKM Capital Partners announced it has added a new member to its expanding leadership team. Susan Rounds was named BKM Capital Partners’ new Managing Director of Operations. She brings more than 20 years of operational experience encompassing human resources, team management, and business development.

Rounds’ primary responsibilities at BKM encompass the effective implementation of HR initiatives and policies and procedures, recruiting, retention, performance management, and coaching. In addition, Susan serves in a critical leadership position providing strategic and technical guidance to BKM’s Marketing, Technology, Legal, and Office Administration departments.


Prior to joining BKM Capital Partners, Rounds served nearly 18 years at Red Mountain Group, most recently as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, IT and Marketing. She successfully implemented and managed all human resource initiatives and programs throughout the corporate organization and property management division. She also served as a consultant to the executive leadership team where she coached managers on best practices, common methodologies, talent management, and compensation.


During her career Rounds has managed more than 1,500 employees across the western United States while working as the Regional Director of Staffing and Development at Keane, Inc. She received the highest employee satisfaction scores for three consecutive years and helped reduce turnover from 150% in 1998 to 22% in 2000.
