BKM Capital Partners Hires David Jensen as Managing Director, Strategic Partnerships

April 25, 2024 – NEWPORT BEACH, CA – BKM Capital Partners announced it has hired David Jensen as managing director, strategic partnerships. Based in Newport Beach, Calif., he will report directly to Bill Gallipeau, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at BKM.

In this capacity, Jensen will manage BKM’s joint venture institutional separate account and programmatic joint venture partnerships, spearheading the firm’s efforts in creating, managing and enhancing investment partnerships. He will lead the negotiation and structuring of joint ventures, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to secure favorable equity investment terms and strategic outcomes. As the primary point of contact for joint venture partners, Jensen will oversee communication and support overall investment selection and management functions. He also will identify and cultivate relationships with potential equity partners to expand BKM’s investor network and secure capital commitments.

Before joining BKM, Jensen served as the founding CEO of Juniper Square Capital, Juniper Square’s FIRNA broker-dealer and capital-markets subsidiary. During his tenure, he led the go-to-market strategy and implementation of multiple fintech private capital market initiatives and launched a private market equity placement platform offering access to $5 billion in fund offerings. As a member of the investment committee, he also was responsible for key account management, manager selection and due diligence.

Jensen earned an M.B.A. from the University of California San Diego’s Rady School of Business, and a B.A. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker, as well as a FINRA Registered Principal with Series 7, 24, 63, 65, 79 securities licenses.
