Annual list recognizes the businesses that set the standard for workplace success and awards excellence in company culture

Newport Beach, CA—June 19, 2025—BKM Capital Partners is proud to announce it has been named to Inc.’s 2025 Best Workplaces list in the Real Estate category, honoring companies that have built exceptional workplaces and vibrant cultures that support their teams and businesses.
This year’s list, featured on Inc.com, is the result of comprehensive measurement and evaluation of American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company cultures–whether in-person or remote.
The award process involved a detailed employee survey conducted by Quantum Workplace, covering critical elements such as management effectiveness, perks, professional development, and overall company culture. Each company’s benefits were also audited to determine overall score and ranking. BKM is honored to be included among the 514 companies selected, as well as one of only 12 companies ranked in the Real Estate category this year.
“As BKM has continued to grow exponentially over the years, one thing has remained constant: our one-of-a-kind company culture continues to set us apart,” explains Susan Rounds, Senior Managing Director of Operations and Administration at BKM. “Driven by our ‘Constant and Never-Ending Improvement’ approach, our teams have built a truly dynamic and nurturing work environment—one that fosters diverse perspectives, continuous learning, and mutual respect among team members, extending far beyond our corporate office to every employee across the organization.”
Headquartered in Newport Beach, CA, BKM Capital Partners is the leading institutional fund manager and operator of small and mid-bay light industrial properties across the United States. With more than 100 employees across 14 offices, BKM earned this recognition for its people-first culture, inclusive workplace, and commitment to professional development at every level. The firm’s holistic approach includes initiatives like the Emerging Leaders Program, Operation Education trainings, and wellness benefits such as paid wellness days, on-site gyms, and flexible leave policies. With 69% of its workforce identifying as diverse and 53% as women, BKM also leads with purpose through DEI programs, volunteer partnerships with over 20 nonprofits, and regular employee-driven feedback loops. Since 2013, BKM has invested nearly $5 billion across more than 130 light industrial properties, but it’s the company’s investment in its people that continues to set it apart.
“Inc.’s Best Workplaces program celebrates the exceptional organizations whose workplace cultures address their employees’ welfare and needs in meaningful ways,” says Bonny Ghosh, editorial director at Inc. “As companies expand and adapt to changing economic forces, maintaining such a culture is no small feat. Yet these honorees have not only achieved it—they continue to elevate the employee experience through thoughtful benefits, engagement, and a deep commitment to their teams.”
